“Went Speed Dating at The Vaults in Birmingham last week. I've previously been to XFactor events at Mechu which were great. This is the first one I've been to at The Vaults. I enjoyed the evening very much and the venue ideal for speed dating.”

“Thought the hosts were really poor, not equal numbers of men and women, the hosts did nothing to create the right atmosphere etc. Not sure if I would use them again - although I have made a really good friend”

“warning! if they cancel an event (which happens a LOT) you don't get a refund! you just get moved to another event. which guess what, gets cancelled. disgraceful.”
“Booked an event in London last month, day before it was cancelled and I received email that Id be refunded automatically. Today received a message for a half price event, went to book and saw that I had a credit on my account and I had never received a refund from the previous event! The email today said 'Ladies sold out', so to test this I tried to book '4' female tickets and the system accepted 4 females so CLEARLY LADIES 'NOT' SOLD OUT. BEWARE, IF YOU GET A MESSAGE STATING LADIES/MEN SOLD OUT CHECK IT FOR YOURSELF FIRST.”
“I attended an event in Teddington and waited around for an hour. I spent around £5 on mobile calls trying to get through to them to be told it was cancelled. They could have at least told the bar or sent an SMS message. I had not even received an email notifying me of the cancellation. Not impressed!”
“Absolutely awful experience. Sorry but I am so annoyed I have to tell you. The hostess did not turn up on the night I had booked, and 20+ people were left stranded. Wasted journey, and they will not refund my money or my petrol.”
“Went to the singles speed dating party last night at Apres. I enjoyed it very much. The only negative aspect was that the music was too loud in the speed dating area...lost my voice from shouting.”

“went to speed dating event in norwich on 12th jan
at Henry's bar. The event was very well run locally. From talking to the other people at the event they also seemed to be happy.Although i think the costs could be more cleary displayed. Both myself and another saw the event advertised cheaper on the web with a discount code, when we went to use the code the deal had finished??. You also have to pay another £19.99 for 1 months membership to see the full resualts of the speed date?”
“I have been to a few eveningds in London with a number of companies and its normally well put together, but the other night with xfactors people was a shambles, with the host with the most as she kept telling everyone being very annoying. The night started 40 minutes late and finished after 11. She treated it as if it was her private party, but it was no fun.”

“so far, not good. i went to a london event a month ago with very low numbers. i live closer to guildford and turned up to a party to try and buy a ticket on the door as it appeared as 'sold out' on the website. the venue had no idea about the booking, it clearly didnt exist!”
“went to London singles party few weeks ago, had great time, staff really made an effort to make me feel comfortable as went on my own and even introduced me to loads of girls. Got 10 matches and 2 dates from it, 1 of which now going out with. If your serious about meeting someone and having a great night out, then give them go to an Xfactor event!!”

“i went to the valentines party. the bar was totally understaffed and it took forever to get a drink. xfactor had obviously sold too many tickets. this whole thing was a bit disorganised and shambolic really. and without sounding arrogant, i can't say the selection of men was great.”
“I went to the do in Westminster and they gave number 9 (out of 11) and yet the next day on the web site it said I did not attend. Eventually they agreed I had and then gave me number 12 !”
